Energy Efficiency company Eco-Nomics join Advisory Board for BASE London

01 Feb 2012

Eco-Nomics, one of the UK's leading companies in the energy efficiency sector, have been invited to join the Advisory Board of BASE London.

Launched in 2010 and enjoying significant growth in 2011, the BASE London event addresses London's low-carbon objectives and how City Hall policies translate into opportunities for the private sector.

The BASE events bring together public sector policy makers and administrators with the private sector organisations responsible for designing, building, managing and funding the UK's low-carbon transformation. Specifically these events identify business development opportunities in the areas of retrofitting buildings; sustainable transport; smart energy networks and renewable energy; energy management; combined heat and power/district heating; recycling and waste to energy systems.

Speaking on behalf of Eco-Nomics, Managing Director, John Tarbet said, "We are really excited to join the Advisory Board for such a prestigious event. We hope that we can bring our expertise in the energy efficiency and retrofit markets to help BASE London meet and exceed their goals. Whilst our organisation works across the UK, we recognise that London, as the financial capital, is an ideal place to showcase sustainable initiatives to potential investors".

Steve Norris, Chair of BASE London and Former Transport Minister and London Mayoral Candidate said, "We're delighted to welcome Eco-Nomics as a valued member of the BASE London Advisory Board. They are an innovative, forward thinking company with a refreshingly commercial approach to making our built environment more sustainable through use of green technologies. We look forward to a close association for many years to come.".

The next Base London event will be held on the 21 June 2012.
